How much electrical power is needed to park and retrieve 1 car in the Robotic Parking System?

The Robotic Parking System requires only 3 Kw / Hr to park and retrieve one car – including all auxiliary electrical needs like lighting, air conditioning etc.

With no people or running cars inside the garage, there are lower lighting and ventilation requirements for an automated parking facility.

Per 2011 regulations, a conventional parking garage requires 4 to 5 times (8 to 10 ACH) the required ventilation in an enclosed automated parking garage (a minimum of 2 ACH [air changes per hour]). Openings at the roof and at the bottom of the Robotic Parking System take advantage of the natural chimney effect and provide the required ventilation without further mechanical equipment.

Plus, there is no need in a Robotic Parking System for lighting of stairwells, ramps or decks as is required for a conventional parking garage.

These factors add up to increased savings for the developer and lower operating costs.
