Ventilation, Heating and Air Conditioning in a Robotic Parking System

The vehicle storage area of a Robotic Parking Systems does not require heating or air conditioning since the public is prohibited from entering this area, and only maintenance crews are allowed. However, some ventilation of outside air is recommended.

Ventilation of vehicle emissions is not required inside the vehicle storage area because no cars are running. Vehicles are moved using electro-mechanical automation. However, depending on the design of the Entry / Exit Terminal some ventilation of emissions may be required in that space.

Areas accessible to the public are equipped with sufficient heating, air conditioning and ventilation for the safety and comfort of the users of the parking garage.

Reduced requirements for ventilation, heating and air conditioning is one area of savings for developers.
